Terra Expro's Products Continue to Prove Themselves in the Field:
2006: Terra Expro successfully troubleshoots problematical emulsion and polymerization
issues in the Southern North Sea gas production stream.
Terra Expro was approached with an issue of intermittent emulsion formation,
of a peculiar robust nature, appearing in the onshore process facility of one
of the UK’s major gas producers. After conducting extensive analytical
work, the R&D department arranged to field trial a novel gas/water demulsifier
for the Operator. After one year of field trials, the Operator has installed
an injection system which is currently operating at 100% efficiency, to eliminate
this problem.
The solution was TECA 111 – another innovative product from Terra
Expro.
2006: Terra Expro – Operating through Well-Flow International WWL in
Bahrain – successful opens 5th consecutive water injector in the Arabian
Gulf.
Using the novel combination of Ferrout 100 & Koplus LO, an Operator in
the Arabian Gulf has successfully added 150,000 bwpd to an injection system
previously averaging less than 50,000 bwpd. The success of this operation has
added huge value to the Operators ability to produce more oil, and reduce the
number of injection wells it needed to drill in 2006 and 2007.
Success stories from Nigeria and the North Sea
January 2005 -
When a Nigerian well failed to flow after completion, Koplus
LO/HDC Mark II was used to bring it back on stream. A subsequent acid job totally
compromised the reservoir. The client abandoned the well and later decided
to try Terra Expro’s Koplus LO/HDC system. With the application of Koplus/HDC
the well went from 0 to 4500 bfpd and is still producing at this rate today.
February 2005 – A sealed valve configuration left a major workover well
operation pending in the North Sea. Neither CTU nor contemporary scale chemistry
was able to free the valve. After a 24-hour operation using Terra Expro’s
HDC XREAM to free the valve, the well was successfully re-opened.
February 2005 -
A new water injector in the North Sea was compromised by old
biomass and drilling solids. After the injector failed to respond to HCL/HF,
it was successfully brought on line with the application of Terra Expro’s
Koplus LO cake breaker + Ferrout 100 sulphide dissolver.
